Ghani Group began its business journey in 1967 under the name Ahmed Brothers & Co., with the acquisition of a defunct coal mine, Duta Mines, which eventually led to the full acquisition of Makerwall Collieries.

Mr. Anwaar Ahmad Khan is a founding member of Ghani Group of Industries and has served on the Board of Ghani Glass Limited since its inception. He is currently Deputy CEO of Ghani Glass Limited and CEO of Ghani Value Glass, Globacore Metals, and Ghani Group Services.
With over 30 years of experience across the glass, mining, textile, and automobile sectors, Mr. Khan has played a central role in the group’s industrial success. He also serves on the boards of Ghani Ceramics, Ghani Taameraat, Ghani Technologies, Ghani Accessories, Makerwal Collieries, Anwaar Construction, Ghani Chromite Mines, Ghani Group of Industries, and Ghani Foundation. He is also a trustee of Ghani Roza Tul Jannah Trust.
Under his leadership, Ghani Value Glass has become Pakistan’s leading value-added glass manufacturer, significantly reducing imports and creating jobs. As Deputy CEO, he pioneered the development of Ghani Glass’s float glass plants in Sheikhupura, Landhi, and Hattar, with production capacity exceeding 1,570 MT/day. These facilities reduced float glass imports by 90% and now support over 3,000 direct and 18,000 indirect jobs.
Mr. Khan’s strategic direction helped Ghani capture the largest share of Pakistan’s architectural and container glass markets while expanding exports to 33+ countries, boosting foreign exchange earnings.
Beyond business, he is known for his commitment to philanthropy, particularly in education and healthcare. In 2014, he was honored among Pakistan’s Top 100 Taxpayers, and in 2018, the SECP granted him exemption from the Directors’ Training Program in recognition of his qualifications and experience.
Mr. Aftab Ahmed Khan

Mr. Aftab Ahmed Khan is a founding member of Ghani Group of Industries and has served as Director and Deputy CEO of Ghani Glass Limited since its inception. With over 30 years of experience, he has contributed significantly to the group’s success across glass, mining, textile, automobile, and ceramics sectors.
He previously served as Director of Finance, overseeing strategic and operational financial matters, including budgeting, negotiations with financial institutions, and contract approvals. Mr. Aftab also led the procurement division, developing policies, approving suppliers, and maintaining key partnerships to ensure operational efficiency.
A strong organizational leader, he has played a key role in long-term planning and policy development in alignment with the Board. He helped transform Ghani Textile into Ghani Automobiles and managed operations and business development to serve local and global markets.
Mr. Aftab has directed both domestic and international sales efforts, guiding teams on pricing, market strategies, and customer outreach. He has also led the development of manufacturing process plans, integrating operations, reviewing production reports, and driving process improvement across departments.
He currently serves as CEO and Director of Ghani Ceramics, Ghani Tiles, Ghani Accessories and Sanitary Fittings, Ghani Technologies, and Ghani Taameraat. Mr. Junaid Ghani

Mr. Junaid Ghani has been serving as Director of Ghani Glass Limited since 1999. With a strong background in both marketing and information technology, he plays a dual leadership role as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and Head of the IT Department.
As CMO, Mr. Ghani is responsible for developing and executing the overall marketing strategy of the company. His duties span market research, product marketing, pricing, advertising, public relations, and content management. He sets marketing goals, defines KPIs, and leads the creation and presentation of annual marketing plans. His work directly contributes to the company’s growth, guiding campaigns based on data-driven decisions and industry insights.
In his role as Head of IT, he oversees all technological operations, including network security and infrastructure. He develops IT policies aligned with business strategies, analyzes departmental tech needs, and ensures cost-effective and efficient technology solutions. Mr. Ghani leads IT teams, manages vendor relationships, and ensures seamless integration of systems across departments. He also evaluates upgrades, software configurations, and system performance to support operational goals.

His responsibilities include production planning, resource allocation, and ensuring operational efficiency, productivity, and profitability. Mr. Ghani enforces strict quality control standards to meet customer expectations and industry benchmarks. He works closely with cross-functional departments such as engineering, procurement, and logistics to maintain smooth coordination throughout the manufacturing process.
He is also focused on identifying and implementing process improvements, optimizing workflows, and reducing operational costs. Under his leadership, Ghani Glass has built a high-performing manufacturing team through strategic hiring, training, and performance management. He ensures the company’s manufacturing efforts align with sales forecasts, demand planning, and financial targets. Additionally, he oversees compliance with industry regulations and quality management systems such as ISO certifications.

Mr. Obaid Ghani holds a BBA degree in Business Management and brings extensive experience in glass manufacturing operations and strategic marketing. He currently serves as Chief Operating Officer (Marketing) at Ghani Ceramics Limited and has held the position of General Manager at RAK Ghani Glass LLC since 2009.
At RAK Ghani Glass LLC, Mr. Ghani leads the development and execution of both short- and long-term strategies aimed at achieving business goals, optimizing manufacturing utilization, and driving operational excellence. He is responsible for managing budgets and implementing financial and capital expenditure strategies that increase top-line revenue while reducing costs.
As COO (Marketing), he oversees the planning, development, and execution of comprehensive marketing and advertising initiatives. Reporting directly to the CEO, his role includes increasing revenue through strategic marketing aligned with brand and financial goals. His expertise spans market research, product marketing, pricing, advertising, and public relations.
Mr. Obaid leads the sales management and business development teams, as well as product and distribution channel development. He also directs customer service efforts to ensure alignment with the overall brand experience. His responsibilities include building the marketing department’s structure, negotiating advertising contracts, approving marketing campaigns, and ensuring all marketing activities support the company’s strategic growth.

Mr. Zaid Ghani joined the Board of Ghani Glass Limited on September 13, 2012, and currently serves as its Chairman. He is a graduate of the University of the Punjab and also serves as Director of Ghani Tiles (Pvt) Limited. He is a member of both the Audit Committee and the Human Resource & Remuneration (HR & R) Committee of Ghani Glass Limited and acts as a Trustee of the Ghani Roza tul Jannah Trust.
Mr. Zaid Ghani plays a key operational role at Ghani Value Glass Limited, where he oversees manufacturing and production strategy. He is responsible for implementing tactical and strategic operational plans to deliver product excellence, optimize production capacity, and exceed customer expectations in terms of quality, cost, and delivery timelines.
He manages teams across the manufacturing division, providing clear leadership and driving key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure on-time, high-quality project delivery. He works closely with both internal departments and external partners to align on technical standards and maintain best-in-class manufacturing practices.
Mr. Ghani also emphasizes continuous improvement by embedding Lean Business strategies and fostering a culture of operational excellence. Mr. Hamza Ghani was elected as a Non-Executive Director of Ghani Glass Limited on December 14, 2014, and became a full-time Executive Director on September 28, 2018. In his current role, he oversees the company’s financial, legal, corporate, procurement, and public relations affairs.
On the financial side, Mr. Ghani leads the company’s financial planning and strategy, monitors performance, and evaluates investment opportunities and risks. His direction ensures strong fiscal governance and long-term financial sustainability.
In legal and corporate affairs, he sets strategic direction in alignment with organizational goals, advises departments on complex legal matters, and analyzes issues impacting domestic and international operations. His work ensures compliance and supports strategic initiatives across all business units.
He also heads the procurement and logistics functions, ensuring the consistency, cost-effectiveness, and quality of all purchasing activities. Mr. Hamza oversees the development and execution of procurement policies and supervises raw material sourcing and machinery purchases for both local and international supply chains.
He earned his O Levels from Aitchison College, Lahore, and pursued higher education in the UK. He completed his foundation studies at City University, London, followed by a B.Sc. (Hons) in Accounting and Management from Brunel University, London.
Mr. Hamza is also the CEO of Ghani Oil and Gas (Pvt) Limited and serves as Director of Ghani Ceramics Limited. In recognition of his professional qualifications and governance expertise, he is a Certified Director under the Listed Companies (Code of Corporate Governance) Regulations by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP).

Mr. Moeez Ghani has been serving as Director of Ghani Glass Limited since December 14, 2017. He also holds directorship positions at Ghani Ceramics Limited, Ghani Tiles (Pvt) Limited, Ahmad Brothers Materials (Pvt) Limited, Ghani Oil and Gas (Pvt) Limited, and Anwaar Construction and Developers (Pvt) Limited. Mr. Moeez completed his O Levels at Aitchison College, Lahore, and pursued higher education in the UK. He earned a Bachelor's in Business Administration from De Montfort University in 2019 and a Master’s degree in Marketing from King’s College, London

As a senior member of the leadership team, Mr. Moeez ensures alignment between production performance and company-wide goals. He is deeply involved in strategic planning, setting KPIs, establishing internal policies, and optimizing daily workflows.
Mr. Ghani also leads performance management for the production team, motivating employees and encouraging a results-driven culture. He contributes to the company’s long-term growth through participation in expansion initiatives, including investments, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships.
